Understanding M.A.T.

This is a major policy area as well as an important area to understand client care.  Outpatient Buprenorphine Treatment, also called Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) or just "Suboxone Therapy" is a relatively new area of practice having been approved only 24 years ago.  It has come a long way from its inception, and these videos are intended to be an introduction to this practice as a social worker.
