My name is Lauren Verardi, and I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) intern with University of Michigan. My practice is informed by a deep interest in holistic, relational, and integrative approaches to mental health care that centers on the whole person. I also focus on somatic and body-based approaches, especially as they relate to nervous system regulation, stress, and trauma.

My path into social work has been shaped by both professional and personal experiences. As a single parent myself, I bring a deep understanding of family systems, chronic stress, resilience, and the realities many clients face as they balance family caregiving, work, health, and personal growth, and these strengthen my commitment to compassionate, nonjudgmental, and strength-based care.

Clinically, I am especially interested in working with adults, parents, and families navigating anxiety, stress, identity transitions, life role strain, and health-related challenges.

My developing practice interests include:

My passion when working with clients is to provide care that helps people feel seen, supported, and empowered, both cognitively and somatically, so they can build lives that are sustainable, aligned, and meaningful.
