Eric Strother, NP

My name is Eric Strother, I was born and raised in Metro Detroit. In 2015, I relocated to northern Michigan with my wife and four children. I have worked in healthcare since 2007, with over 12 years being spent in various emergency departments across the country. Through my time in the ER, I witnessed the effects of addiction on countless individuals, and this has influenced me to want to assist as many as I can through the MAT program here at Life’s Work Clinic. In addition, I am also a full time provider in an urgent care in the region as well as contingent in an ER.

If I am not at work I spend as much time as possible outside with my favorite activities being boating, hunting, backpacking, snow and water skiing, and snowmobiling. In addition to the wonderful hunting/fishing in Northern Michigan, I travel west each year to chase big game in the mountains.

I look forward to assisting the individuals in this community.

Eric specializes in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and addiction recovery. Drawing on years of emergency medicine experience, he works closely with individuals seeking compassionate, evidence based treatment for opioid and substance use disorders while supporting long term recovery and overall wellness.
