I’m a provider with a deep passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals and those who identify as nerdy or outside the mainstream.

My background includes extensive experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, where I provided person-centered care that emphasized self-advocacy, emotional well-being, and skill development. This experience has shaped my approach to therapy, as I strive to create an inclusive and affirming space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.

As a proud nerd myself, I understand the unique joys and struggles that come with embracing niche interests, navigating social connections, and feeling like an outsider. I specialize in working with individuals who may have felt alone or misunderstood, helping them embrace their identities, build confidence, and pursue their goals with authenticity. Whether through exploring personal narratives, developing coping strategies, or simply creating a space where clients can feel safe to be themselves, my goal is to help others cultivate self-acceptance and meaningful connections in their lives.

Emma provides in person counseling through Inner Magic Counseling, LLC in Portage, Michigan, as well as secure telehealth services for clients throughout Michigan. She is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where neurodivergent individuals, adolescents, and adults can feel understood, supported, and empowered to achieve meaningful personal growth.
